Organisation

Uppsala STS is a multi-disciplinary research center at Uppsala University. Its multidisciplinary character is manifest in its formal organization. The Center has its administrative seat at the Department of Economic History in the Faculty of Social Science, but the disciplinary affiliations of its researchers and their topics spans a variety of disciplines within the liberal arts and social sciences, as well as the natural sciences and medicine. The Uppsala STS Board of Directors represents a broad spectrum of academic affiliations as well. Several research projects at Uppsala STS are conducted in collaboration with other universities and organizations, both nationally and internationally.
